Students wrote some “mystery clues” about themselves, which we have used to create a bulletin board in the main hallway. They also included a signature, either scrambled, in Morse Code, or in a code that they created. Next time you are in the building, see how many third and fourth graders you can identify from their clues.
September 15ish was International Dot Day, but students participated in activities throughout the week. It began in library, and continued in art. Students also wrote Dot Poems in the classroom.
Homework folders are starting to fill up with titles and authors, as well as a record of how students are practicing their math skills. Thank you for your support in helping your child complete this weekly record. This week fourth graders were given an XtraMath account to practice their facts in class, but this can also be accessed from home and used for additional practice. All students signed up for Typing Club this week to help with keyboarding skills. This program can also be accessed at home, but is not required.
