An exciting find on a lunch time walk on the Nature Trail - a lady's slipper!
Wednesday, June 8 at 7:40.
We hope that you will be able to join us next week to see the completed signs and hear all the details. The students worked very hard and are rightfully proud of the finished products.
Students have been studying Vermont history and geography. Some students selected historical fiction, focused on early settlers, the colonial period or the Revolutionary War. Other students selected topics to research, and then present to their classmates, and some students managed to complete both. The culmination of our unit will be a field trip to Shelburne Museum on Thursday, June 9th.
Our last two 4 Winds topics were Disguises and Surprises in April and Fiddleheads to Ferns in May. We want to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful parent volunteers - Jill Ellis, Cory Stevenson and Heather Hammond in Ms. Lewis's classroom and Akhil Kaplan, Chris Mayone, and Anne Kubic in Ms. Koch's room.
