UNICEF is an organization for helping kids. People give kids money for safe homes, nutritious food, clean water, clothes, medicine and school supplies. People need these things to survive, in the world. Help these people they need money. We learned about UNICEF because on Halloween we can collect money for these people.

Today we learned about Unicef. Unicef is a foundation that can help kids around the world. One way we can collect money is by going trick-or-treating and holding up your Unicef box that your teachers would give you.On Friday we got our Unicef boxes.I don’t know if i’m going to collect money or not.Unicef helps kids around the world that need note books and pencils, pumps for clean water, schools, and medicines.Unicef is important and if you can collect money for Unicef.
We are starting a new unit in P.E. on Soccer. Anyways last week in P.E. we played Pinball.Pinball is played where there are two teams. One on one side of the gym and the other on the other side of the gym and there are pins set up on both sides of the gym and there are two balls. And if your on one team you try to knock down the other teams pins and it can also go the other way around. It is a really fun game and i enjoy playing it. And that’s what we did last week.

Last week we learned about balance with rulers, binder clips, and paper clips. We put the binder clips on the ruler and the paper clips on the binder clips on each side. There was one in the middle so we could hold it. We found if we put 2 big clips and 1 little clip on one side then we could put one big clip and three little clips on the other side and see if that would be balanced.
Then we worked on the Aero App, we were birds and it would show the lift, gravity (weight), thrust, and drag. Then we used propellers where you twist it and it flies up in the air and lands pretty quick. As you can see we learned about balanced and unbalanced forces.

Today we learned about Unicef, it's a foundation that helps kids that live in a place where maybe there was a war or something and when we collect money they give them medicines and fountains and food or schools and school supplies so they can learn and be healthy. Another thing we learned about this week was four winds. In four winds we learned about seeds and about how they travel we played a cool game about matching plants with their seeds and guessing how they travel. The ways they could travel are hitch hikers, floaters, being eaten by animals, getting buried by animals and then forgot. In science we also learned about planes staying in the air using lift ,drag, weight and thrust to go up, down and side to side.
